Who is in the Realm of the Hungry
Director - James Winter
James is a graduate of the Centre for the Performing Arts and is the founder of Brand 'X' Theatre, directing their critically acclaimed 1994 Fringe production of True West. He has since performed in Anaheim Magic for Magpie Theatre, One Was Vicious for Queenbitchery, Armed Exhibitionist for the Theatre Guild and Jack Hibberd's Hotel Paradiso. He directed The Games People Play for Theatre Praxis and performed in and choreographed a section for the Splinter Dance Collective's No Mean Feet in 1995. He recently directed a theatre-in-education show The Game of Life which toured southern South Australia late last year.

Choreographer - Vanessa Ellis
A graduate of dance from the Centre for the Performing Arts Vanessa has worked constantly since graduating. She has worked as a dancer and actor in various State Opera Company productions, Impromptu for the Adelaide 1993 Come Out Festival. She has choreographed for the Independent Artists 1993 season. Vanessa has also choreographed and performed in many independent short films. Vanessa's ambition is to, in the very near future, have Hot Box, the independent company producing Realm Of The Hungry, established as a continually working company that explores the merger of art forms and mutli media.

Choreography - Annemarie Kohn
Annemarie has been trained in classical and contemporary at the Centre for the Performing Arts. Since graduating she has worked within performance arts groups using slides, animation and performance. Annemarie has since fulfilled her ambition of studying film and has since combined film and dance in live performance.

Writer - Fiona Sprott
Fiona graduated from the University of Adelaide with a B.A. in Educational Theatre where she went on to co-found the Performance Art group "Safe Chamber". During this time she found her talent for writing and performance with solo works at Hypertext, Nexus Cabaret World Music Day and Stream Artist Collective. Late last year Fiona was awarded, through the Department for the Arts, The Wakefield Press 1995 Spring Residency at Carrick Hill, where she set about devising and creating "Party it's about love. Partly it's about massacre." Fiona is a published professional freelance writer and has worked with different collaborations such as Queenbitchery. You can find Fiona's work currently n the internet, On Edge Magazine, and featured on many independent animation and film projects.

Ringleader - Danielle Libregts
After 13 years of dance training, Danielle was accepted into the Acting Course at the Centre of the Preforming Arts. Her roles include: "Claire" in Jean Genett's "The Maids", and "Golgrutha" in Steven Sewells Trilogy "The Garden of Earthly Delights". Since graduating in 1994, she was asked to perform "Peg" in Peta Murray's "Wallflowering" in the 1995 Melbourne Fringe Festival.

Dancer - Tania Tabacchi
Tania graduated from the Centre for the Performing Arts (Dance) in 1991. Since this time she has worked, performed and initiated various projects such as the Paradox 1994 CD launch, Dirty House record promotions and the Lion Arts Fringe Fashion Parade. A freelance teacher and choreographer, her current focus is in contemporary dance performance.

Dancer - Sarah Manthey
Sarah graduated from Centre for the Performing Arts in 1992. She ran widely away with an associate diploma in Performance and Dance. Over three years, Sarah has worked with various companies, including State Opera Company, Warner Brothers, toured Japan with a Cabaret group and performed with Adelaide Independent Artist for a Carclew Arts Fund. She taught at Blackwood High School for a year and also privately. Also Sarah has worked in the Film Industry, involving dance and movement. She is interested in extending her work with Film and collaborating with Dance and Musicians.

Dancer - Aidan Munn
Aidan trained at the Australian Ballet School and after graduated started working with the Australian Dance Theatre under the directorship of Leigh Warren. Later Aidan followed Leigh as a member of Leigh Warren and Dancers. Aidan has also worked with Outlet Dance, State Opera Company, Magpie Theatre, State Theatre Company and a Busking Troupe called Buzz. Aidan has taught at the Centre of the Performing Arts, B.A. and also teachers and choreographs for other outlets.

Dancer - Chris Shepherd
Chris has formally trained in Classical Dance at the Australian Ballet School, following which Chris further studied Jazz with Rodnne Arnold before working extensively in the commercial arena including: Dancin' Man, West Side Story, Australian Dance Theatre and Meryl Tankards A.D.T., various television commercials, cabaret, Rock & Rock, (Renee Geyer) film, (Belinda) and touring Australia. Now Chris has found family life in Adelaide. He teaches at the Centre for the Performing Arts and works constantly on many different project.

Music - Asio + Paddee (the band formerly known as Juice)
Asio are Adelaide's progressive techno musicians, they have contributed to the scene for a number of years and have metamorphosed in name and personnel over that time. They are at the forefront of Adelaide's dance music boom, and if you haven't felt the boom yet then you probably haven't been at the right parties!

Music - Eyespine
Eyespine are out there in the dance music realm. They have DJ'd at the best dance parties and have laid down tracks that get regular airplay on Adelaide's independent radio stations. They specialise in soundscape and environmental ambience music. Eyespine have venture into the realm of the mainstream by producing a soundtrack for the Magosia fashion parade.

Animation - Lynne Sanderson
Lynne is a digital artist whose animation and stills have been exhibited worldwide; An Eccentric Orbit, MoMA, NYC, Berlin Interfilm Festival, ISEA95, Montreal. Under the pseudonym Sustenance, Lynne has shown her work at various dance parties.
