NEW NATIONAL OHS LAWS COULD PUT AUSTRALIAN WORKERS AT RISK

Australia has a chance to have the same Occupational Health & Safety laws in every state and territory around the country that protect workers with the world’s best safety standards.

But proposed new laws lower safety standards and put Australian workers at risk.

We need to put pressure on our State and federal Governments to achieve the highest possible standard of OHS laws.

SA Campaign Launch – September 1^st

On September 1^st we launched the SA campaign. Around 100 people gathered at a prominent construction site in Hindmarsh Square at lunch time. Speakers were Janet Giles, Secretary of SA Unions, Aaron Cartledge, Assistant Secretary of the CFMEU and Anne -Marie, a Health and Safety Representative and member of the Australian Nurses Federation.  click here for media release  and YouTube video
