Introductory Health and Safety Representative Courses

This Introductory Health and Safety Representative course is accredited by Comcare. In undertaking the course Health and Safety Representatives and their employers will meet the requirements of Section 27 of the Occupational Health & Safety Act 1991.

Only elected Health and Safety Representatives are entitled to attend this course.

Course Description

A five day course where participants will look at injuries and diseases in workplaces; causes of accidents; the OH&S Act 1991; and a range of other OHS issues to enable them to effectively perform their role as a HSR in the workplace.

Course Length & Time
 Five days, 9.15 am - 4.15 pm

Target Group

Elected Health and Safety Representatives and Deputy Health and Safety Representatives.

 
Prerequisites
Election as a Health and Safety Representative or Deputy Health and Safety Representative.

Course Fee

Commonwealth Introductory
Standard Fee $650 (includes GST)

 

The Course Fee includes

  • Participant manual (with copy of the OHS&W Act)

  • Morning and afternoon tea each day

  • Light lunch provided daily
