The SA Unions has specific committees and networks designed to handle a variety of issues - they are The Committees and Networks provide SA Unions delegates with an opportunity to have direct input into policy, program development and implementation. Anna Stewart Memorial Project Committee The ASMP Committee plans and organises the Anna Stewart Memorial Project program each year and liaises with unions and union members focussing on different themes each year. Contact : Janet Giles Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare Committee The OHSW Committee advises Council on various issues, policies and matters relating to occupational health and safety issues in the workplace. Contact : Janet Giles The Women's Standing Committee's role is to address issues that women face in the workforce. Unions are committed through the Standing Committee in increasing women's involvement in the workforce.
