Changes to superannuation set to come into effect from July 1 provide the ideal opportunity for people about to retire to review their finances, in particular, their superannuation.
In the 2006 Federal Budget, the government simplified the superannuation system and these changes may have an impact on your potential retirement income. So if you are approaching retirement, what should you do to make the most of the changes and maximise your super nest egg?
The changes that come into effect on July 1 make super an attractive option in terms of saving for retirement.
